BALTIMORE – Coppin State University invites Eagle Nation and the Baltimore community to a weeklong celebration of legacy, culture, and excellence during Homecoming 2026, February 15-22. Under the theme “Legends of Blue & Gold,” the University will honor the legendary alumni, faculty, staff, and students who have built Coppin’s legacy. The celebration will highlight Coppin’s legacy of academic excellence, student success, and community impact through a series of events including alumni reunions, campus festivities, cultural programming, and the highly anticipated Homecoming basketball games.
Beats & Bingo

Coppin Chopped: The Black Table – “What’s at Our Table?”
February 18 | 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. | Talon Center, Main Dining Hall
Hosted by the African American History Committee, Thompson Hospitality, and Business Services, this live culinary competition celebrates The Black Table—a sacred symbol of community, culture, and collective strength. Teams of four will compete using mystery ingredients to create dishes that honor Black heritage and culinary traditions. Judges will evaluate presentation, taste, use of ingredients, and connection to the theme. The winning team takes home the coveted Golden Spatula.
State of the University Address

President Anthony L. Jenkins will deliver his annual State of the University address, reflecting on Coppin State University’s achievements over the past year and outlining the bold vision and strategic initiatives that will shape the institution’s future.
